You review the schedule, coordinate mechanical work across zones, and remove roadblocks so the team can execute flawlessly. By midday, you’re validating progress on HVAC and piping installations, coaching technicians and engineers, and fine-tuning resource allocations to keep timelines and budgets intact. You close the day capturing performance metrics and shaping tomorrow’s plan—always with an eye on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

• End-to-end supervision of mechanical projects—from kickoff through closeout—ensuring safe, efficient execution.
• Coordination of the installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, controls, exhaust systems, and related mechanical scopes; stepping in hands-on when needed.
• Leadership and mentorship for mechanical technicians and engineers, cultivating a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards, with proactive risk identification and mitigation.
• Routine inspections and maintenance oversight for mechanical systems, ensuring reliability and uptime.
• Development and rollout of preventive maintenance programs that reduce downtime and extend asset life.
• Cross-functional collaboration to troubleshoot challenges and optimize operations across departments.
• Ownership of budgets, schedules, and resource planning to meet project commitments.
• Preparation and delivery of clear status reports and performance dashboards.
• Continuous scanning of industry trends and emerging mechanical technologies to drive improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 5+ years in mechanical supervision or management with proven site leadership.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment used in HVAC and piping work.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Sharp problem-solving and sound decision-making under time pressure.
• Clear, confident communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in safety regulations and best practices for mechanical operations.
• Proficiency with project management software and related tools.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities.
