Position Summary
Theodore, AL

Genesis is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-driven Regulatory & Compliance Manager to oversee and maintain compliance with federal, state, and industry safety regulations. This role is critical in ensuring that products, services, documentation, and internal processes meet all applicable regulatory requirements while supporting the company’s commitment to workplace safety and customer trust.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with OSHA standards, safety documentation, and regulatory compliance within industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret applicable regulatory requirements, including OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, and other relevant safety standards

• Ensure company products, services, and procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations

• Maintain and manage compliance documentation, certifications, and records

• Review product data, SDS sheets, technical documentation, and vendor certifications for accuracy and compliance

• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on regulatory and safety compliance matters

• Support sales, project management, and operations teams with compliance guidance during project execution

• Coordinate and prepare for customer audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections

• Track regulatory changes and proactively communicate impacts to leadership and relevant teams

• Develop and update internal compliance policies, procedures, and training materials

• Investigate compliance issues or incidents and recommend corrective actions

• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, safety, or quality roles

• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety regulations

• Experience working in safety equipment, industrial distribution, construction, or manufacturing environments preferred

• Ability to interpret regulatory language and translate it into practical business processes

• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with compliance management systems is a plus

Preferred Experience & Certifications

• OSHA 30 or OSHA 10 certification

• Experience with ANSI, NFPA, or ISO standards

• Background in fall protection, PPE, confined space, or industrial safety products

• CHST, CSP, or similar safety/compliance certification (preferred but not required)
