Cafeteria staff

- Total Hours Per Week: 30-40 hours per week
- Duration of Contract: New School Year 202526
- Assist in the preparation cooking and serving of nutritious meals in compliance with school nutrition guidelines
- Ensure proper food handling storage and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen serving areas and dining spaces before during and after meal service
- Set up and restock food stations and supplies as needed
- Assist students during meal service ensuring safety and efficiency in the cafeteria
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members and school staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Comply with all health safety and district food service policies
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in food service school cafeteria or similar setting preferred
- Food Handlers Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to maintaining a clean safe and positive dining environment
- Dependable punctual and able to follow directions and schedules effectively
