Civil Designer
Civil Designer – Mobile, AL
Genesis is seeking a motivated Civil Designer to join our engineering firm in Mobile, AL. The ideal candidate will have strong Civil 3D skills, 3–4+ years of civil design experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce detailed civil engineering drawings and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including grading, utilities, drainage, and site layouts.
Translate sketches, concepts, and redlines into construction-ready and preliminary drawings.
Maintain and organize drawing files, project documentation, and CAD standards for accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Initiate drawings independently and manage assigned deliverables.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
3–4+ years of civil design experience.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects.
Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
Self-starter who can begin drawings independently.
Skills & Attributes:
Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced engineering environment.
