About the Role:

The Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's brand presence and fostering strong relationships within the community. This position supports developing and executing marketing strategies that effectively communicate the organization's mission and services to diverse audiences. The coordinator will serve as a liaison between the organization and community stakeholders, ensuring consistent engagement and collaboration. By assisting outreach initiatives and organizing events, the role aims to increase community involvement. This position supports marketing awareness, supports growth objectives, and strengthens community ties.

Experience:

• One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.

Education:

• A bachelor's degree, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications instead of a degree).

Interpersonal Skills:

• Interacts with the MSCU team and external partners while maintaining a personal work environment. Must provide clear communication, professionalism, and the ability to represent the credit union in a professional, courteous manner.

Responsibilities:

• Writes, edits, and schedules social media content across designated platforms. Assist with drafting and send email communications to support marketing initiatives.
• Assist with the development of blog articles to support digital marketing efforts. Assist with advertising sales promotion initiatives as directed by the department.
• Coordinates marketing collateral materials to support promotions, campaigns, and community efforts. Supports coordination of sponsorships, partnerships, and local events with Community Organizations
• Assist with community outreach initiatives to help increase the credit union's visibility and engagement within the communities we serve.
• Helps organize and support branch participation in community events.
