Maintenance Technician

Salary:

$22–$25 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to perform routine facilities maintenance and property evaluations across multiple locations. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of property upkeep and responding swiftly to maintenance needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance

• Identify maintenance issues and determine appropriate resolutions

• Communicate with supervisors and customers regarding work status

• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently

• Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used

• Handle basic plumbing and electrical repairs

• Repair damaged property and malfunctioning systems as needed

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly

• Monitor vendor performance and report substandard service

• Follow all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies

• Perform courier or delivery duties as assigned

• Maintain the company vehicle in safe, working condition

• Carry out other duties as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of experience in general maintenance (electrical, plumbing, painting)

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to maintain accurate records

• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record

• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs., stand/walk frequently, climb, kneel, and use fine motor skills
