Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an engaging school-based contract opportunity supporting students from August 7 through June 10 as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This role offers meaningful work in a collaborative educational setting, focusing on assessment and intervention for children with diverse learning needs.

Your expertise in pediatric and adolescent development is vital to ensure high-quality services for students with disabilities. You will interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations while collaborating with educators, families, and related service professionals.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution
• Valid Professional Educator Certification
• Familiarity with federal and state education regulations pertaining to special education
• Strong foundation in pediatric and adolescent development (both cognitive and physical)
• Experience utilizing diagnostic instruments for assessing student needs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• ASHA Certification and ABSESPA Licensure preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students using a variety of medical and psychological tools to identify speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique strengths and challenges
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to guide therapy decisions
• Maintain compliance with all documentation and regulatory requirements
• Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed
