Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance, property management, or a related field (preferred)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; trade certifications a plus
• Strong technical and mechanical skills, with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• Ability to be on-call and respond to emergencies within 30 minutes (must have reliable transportation and phone)
• Experience in hospitality, sales, operations, development, or student housing is a plus

• Ensure that the community and its grounds are in good repair and provide a safe and attractive environment for residents
• Respond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff
  
• Prepare apartments for new residents
  
• Complete inspections of units
  
• Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash
  
• Ensure that all maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries to residents, associates, and visitors
  
• Maintain availability to residents, management, and staff on a regular predictable basis
  
• Respond to night/weekend call duty
  
• Respond to emergencies within 30 minutes (must have reliable transportation and phone)
