We are pleased to announce the opening for a Mid-Level Accountant, who will join Business Operations Team in Huntsville, AL and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in daily accounting operations using Unanet ERP system
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Help prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, including annual Incurred Cost Submission using the ICE-model
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
• Support budget preparation and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with DCAA requirements, maintain accurate financial records and documentation, and participate in audit preparation and support

Basic Qualifications:

• You must have bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• You will need 5-7 years of full-time professional experience. Preferably in a defense or government contracting environment.
• You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Unanet ERP system strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, and FAR, CAS, and DCAA compliance requirements
• Experience with project-based accounting and indirect rate calculations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
