About the Role

The Tree Worker will work in a residential yard with a crew performing tree work on trees of various sizes and varieties at the homeowner's property. This will include, but not be limited to, trimming and removals of multiple trees in very sensitive areas related to use with heavy equipment.

What You Will Do:

• Operate Bucket Truck
• Operate Skid Steers of various sizes
• Operate chainsaws of various sizes
• Work around and load wood in the wood chipper
• Move equipment around yards with as little damage as possible
• Rake yards, blow off roofs, clean out flower beds, and pick up pinecones
• Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

• A current & valid driver's license (Climbing Experience and Current CDL license will earn additional pay upon start)
• ISA Certified tree worker/climber specialist certification is preferred
• The ability to identify tree types is required
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure with unexpected occurrences and delays.
• The ability to work outdoors in all types of weather and conditions.
• Attention to detail.
• Great attendance and reliability.
• A willingness to come to work every day and find ways to improve from the previous day.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to climb and work off of the ground
• Ability to lift 75 pounds occasionally (Team lift or utilizing equipment)
• Requires driving between company or customer locations
