Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and appropriate school-based certification to support K-12 students. This contract position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development within an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on student goals.

Qualifications:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• School-based SLP certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience working with children from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an educational team.

Location: Bessemer, Alabama (K-12 school setting)
Duration: Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
