Job Description

The Buyer Planner is responsible for purchasing inventory and managing the supply of all base materials and over laminations required for production. The role involves ensuring competitive pricing, maximizing inventory turnover, minimizing obsolescence, and sourcing qualified materials with acceptable delivery timelines. The Buyer Planner collaborates closely with sales and production teams to ensure that materials meet all internal and customer requirements, thereby providing total customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Purchase inventory and manage supply of base materials and over laminations.
• Ensure competitive pricing and maximize inventory turnover.
• Minimize obsolescence and source qualified materials.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to meet internal and customer requirements.
• Build and purchase purchase orders (POs).
• Use ERP system data to analyze order patterns and quantities.
• Recognize and report on slow moving items.
• Maintain recommended inventory levels.
• Coordinate with production, product management, and sales.
• Assist with approval of invoices for payment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
