Part-Time Phone Answerer & Filing Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Phone Answerer & Filing Assistant to support daily office operations. This position involves answering incoming calls, taking messages, assisting customers or clients professionally, and maintaining organized filing systems. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Take accurate messages and relay information promptly
- Greet visitors and provide basic assistance as needed
- Organize, file, and maintain paper and electronic records
- Perform basic clerical duties such as copying, scanning, and data entry
- Assist with office organization and administrative tasks
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous office or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Basic computer and office equipment knowledge
- Ability to stay organized and pay attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Schedule:
- Part-time hours - Monday through Friday, 12pm to 6pm
Pay: $16.00 per hour
