HATCHERY - Egg Set Crew

EGG SET CREW HOURS:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
12:05am - 11:05am ( 10 Hour Shifts)
Must be available and willing to work holidays!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is responsible for performing various tasks in the hatchery while following all Company Safety and Animal Welfare Policies.
- Oversee the egg set process.
- Pull egg buggies into assigned area and transfer eggs from buggies into correct rack for day's schedule.
- Ensure machines are working properly to prevent egg damage.
- Clean and any debris in setters, under racks, or in hallways, and assist Embrex Crew as needed.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to withstand continuous standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead repetitively.
- Ability to squat 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Must be able to maneuver egg buggies.
