Service BDC representive
A Service BDC (Business Development Center) Representative plays a key role in the service department of an automotive dealership. They focus on customer communication and appointment scheduling to drive service department revenue and customer satisfaction. Job Summary: The Service BDC Representative is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling service appointments, following up with customers, and supporting the service department’s daily operations. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and comfortable using dealership software and CRM systems. Key Responsibilities: * Answer incoming service calls promptly and professionally. * Schedule and confirm service appointments using CRM/DMS tools. * Make outbound calls for service reminders, missed appointments, and follow-ups. * Provide information about services, pricing, and promotions. * Assist with online appointment requests and service inquiries. * Maintain accurate customer records and logs. * Coordinate with service advisors and technicians for scheduling. * Support CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) efforts through follow-up calls and surveys. * Handle customer complaints or route them to the appropriate person. * Meet or exceed daily call quotas and appointment goals.
