Floor Technician

Shifts Available:

1. Day shift
2. 7a-3p

Location:

1. Coosa Valley Rehabilitation and Care Center, Alabama

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine and comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing.
2. Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
3. Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean environment in accordance with health regulations.
4. Inspect floors for cleanliness and condition, taking corrective action when needed.
5. Collaborate with the maintenance team for the repair and upkeep of flooring.
6. Assist in setting up for events and rearranging furniture as required.
7. Respond promptly to any spillages or areas requiring immediate attention.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Floor Technician or in a similar role.
2. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
3. Familiarity with floor care equipment and maintenance.
4. Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining cleanliness standards.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Physical stamina and mobility.
