Crane Mechanic
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Crane Mechanic to join our team in Mobile, AL, 36608. As a Crane Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our cranes and lifting equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various types of cranes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair and replace defective parts and components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for crane maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients as necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience as a crane mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
