We are a CPA firm currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for processing payrolls, preparing payroll tax returns and W-2s, as well as assisting with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain primary financial data from clients
- Compute and record financial data
- Process payrolls for clients
- Prepare payroll tax returns
- Prepare W-2s and 1099s
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
- Reconcile bank accounts
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bookkeeper with a public accounting firm
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
