Front-End Loader Operator
Genesis is hiring a front-end loader operator controls and maintains heavy equipment to move materials efficiently and safely. This role is essential in construction, landscaping, mining, and roadwork projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a front-end loader to move materials such as soil, rock, sand, and debris
Load trucks, hoppers, or conveyors with materials
Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning
Perform basic maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, minor repairs)
Follow safety procedures and site regulations at all times
Coordinate with other workers, such as truck drivers and site supervisors
Monitor load weights and ensure even distribution
Keep work areas clean and organized
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience operating heavy machinery (front-end loaders or similar equipment)
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
Ability to work in outdoor and physically demanding environments
Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment upkeep
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Education & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (often preferred)
Certification or training in heavy equipment operation (may be required by employer)
Valid driver’s license
Work Environment:
Outdoor job sites (construction)
Exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions
- May require long hours, including early mornings or overtime
Pay rate: $28 per hour
