We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity at Marano's d'asporto, a vibrant and fast-growing Italian take-out restaurant located at The Shops of Grand River in Leeds. With the business rapidly expanding and daily sales continuously increasing, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. This position is a full-time opportunity aimed at an individual who is ready to take leadership and drive forward our thriving operation.

This role demands hands-on management to not only maintain but also to escalate the operational success of our restaurant. This involves active day-to-day management to shape a positive dining experience for our customers.
The role requires a proactive manager who sees potential challenges as opportunities to grow and refine our operations. It is crucial for the candidate to embrace the role with a zest to implement strategic changes that align with our ambitious business plans. You will be at the forefront, steering the restaurant toward achieving higher operational efficiency and enhanced customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities- Take complete charge of all day-to-day operations at the restaurant, including oversight of staff, management of inventory, scheduling, and customer relations.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff to ensure the restaurant is supported by a knowledgeable and professional team.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures for all restaurant activities to guarantee consistent quality and service.
- Lead by example, setting a high standard for work ethics, integrity, and professionalism within the team.
- Oversee financial elements including managing labor and food costs, tracking daily sales, and ensuring overall profitability.
- Uphold a clean, safe, and enthusiastic restaurant environment that complies fully with health and safety regulations.
- Handle all customer inquiries and complaints with a professional attitude, ensuring a satisfactory resolution and fortifying customer loyalty.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably within a fast-casual or take-out setting.
- Proven track record of effectively hiring, training, and retaining top-quality staff.
- Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to manage and inspire a team, with a decisive and results-driven management approach.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- High levels of personal integrity, professional maturity, and common sense.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and essential financial reporting.
- Comprehensive understanding of food safety and hygiene, including ServSafe certification or similar credentials.
