Join North Alabama Cabinets as a Cabinet Sander, where your craftsmanship will shine! We are seeking a dedicated individual to help us create high-quality cabinets that our customers love. If you have a passion for woodworking and attention to detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Responsibilities:
- Sand cabinet surfaces to achieve a smooth finish, preparing them for staining and painting.
- Inspect and assess wood surfaces for imperfections, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Operate sanding machines and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for quality control and safety.
- Assist in the selection of appropriate materials and sanding techniques.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills
- Looking for someone who wants to be cross trained
- All other duties as assigned
- Previous experience in woodworking or cabinet making is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to operate sanding equipment and tools safely.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a woodworking environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
