Commercial Pest Control Technician

We are searching for a full-time Commercial Pest Control Technician to help keep clients’ businesses safe, comfortable, and up to health code standards. You will be responsible for your own route, getting to know the clients and businesses. You will drive to each stop in a company vehicle, arrive on time, investigate for evidence of unwanted pests, determine the best way to eliminate them, and utilize pest control methods to keep them from coming back. You will also be expected to effectively and professionally communicate to local business people how to keep their stores, restaurants, apartments, etc, pest-free. • Perform pest control services for commercial clients, following company protocols and safety standards
• Inspect properties to identify pest issues and recommend appropriate treatments
• Communicate clearly with clients to explain services, treatment plans, and preventive measures
• Document services accurately using company-provided technology (phone, tablet, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and positive attitude on all service calls
• Follow up on open issues, callbacks, or customer concerns to ensure complete satisfaction
• Collaborate with the leadership and admin team for scheduling, follow-ups, and inventory
• You will have a calendar that you will check daily to look ahead for the week and be prepared for all upcoming appointments.
• Maintain your equipment and company vehicle
• Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities for additional services
• Help represent Bama Exterminating’s values in the communities we serve
• Occasionally assist with residential routes or special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in pest control is strongly preferred, especially in commercial. If not, then a background in other home service businesses or sales.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is a MUST
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for routing, documenting, and reporting
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team mindset
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and physically able to perform all job functions (lifting, climbing, crawling, etc.)
• Willingness to work Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
