Field Technician

Performs day-to-day operation of respective systems to ensure water quality and system performance are within limits set in the operational contract.

Field Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:00pm )

Operates sludge collection units, removes sludge, and performs daily water and chemical analyses.

Supports in the operation of RO/Deionized and cooling water systems as contracted and be familiar with daily water quality testing.

Performs water quality analysis

Reviews analysis data

Documents test results, maintenance issues and general operations

Other duties may be assigned

Field Technician Qualifications:

Resume Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Ability to write simple correspondence

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

experience with forklift and overhead crane.
