Role Objective

The Senior Account Manager (SAM) serves as the strategic partner and trusted advisor to key clients. This role focuses on cultivating long-term relationships, aligning IT services with client objectives, ensuring satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through account expansion and solution selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive retention and satisfaction.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for escalations, resolving issues promptly and effectively.

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across managed service offerings.

  • Coordinate with internal teams including support, sales, and project management for seamless service delivery.

  • Conduct regular business reviews and provide clients with insights and recommendations.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and advise clients on emerging technologies and best practices.

  • Manage contract renewals and lead negotiation of service terms.

  • Develop custom IT roadmaps for clients to support their operational growth.

  • Represent the organization at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate client records, contracts, and interactions in company systems.

  • Maintain working knowledge of all tools, platforms, and services provided by the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of account management experience in the MSP, IT services, or technology industry.

  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management and solution-based sales.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco).

  • Practical experience with MSP service models and IT consulting.

Work Schedule

  • Standard full-time schedule (Monday–Friday).

  • Flexibility required to support clients in different time zones.

Travel Requirements

  • 20–30% travel to client sites.

  • Occasional travel for trainings or company events.

  • Must have reliable transportation.

Security & Authorization

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • May require security clearance for specific client contracts.
