**JOB DESCRIPTION**
ASRC Federal is looking for an experienced Project Manager - Senior to support their work with the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer (CIO) G6 at Redstone Arsenal, AL. This position also functions as the Deputy Project Manager (DPM) responsible for assisting the Program Manager in daily operations, team coordination, and delivery oversight across multiple task areas within the contract.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing large teams in a DoD IT environment, supporting schedule, cost, risk, and performance tracking, while maintaining strong customer relationships and compliance with contract deliverables. This role requires exceptional communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills to help lead and guide both government and contractor stakeholders.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Support the Program Manager in managing day-to-day operations across all contract task areas.
+ Serve as acting PM in the absence of the Program Manager, with support from the Contract Director as required.
+ Develop, modify, and track to completion detailed project plans to include timelines, sprints, project resource estimates, risk management, and a master schedule for approved projects.
+ Brief project status reports throughout the lifecycle of the project, with Government provided software, and communicate if the project is on or behind schedule and provide recommendation for getting behind schedule projects back on track.
+ Track contract deliverables and ensure timely and quality submission.
+ Coordinate and oversee team leads and functional task areas to ensure alignment with contract requirements.
+ Perform a comprehensive review of deployed applications quarterly after their launch. Collect utilization metrics and proactively engage with customers if utilization rates are suboptimal.
+ Manage the government chosen system that serves as a centralized repository for business applications and tools, enabling the Enterprise and PMO to evaluate existing solutions and identify reusable components for new projects.
+ Support customer briefings, status meetings, and stakeholder communications.
+ Assist in risk management, issue resolution, and schedule management.
+ Prepare reports, metrics, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Ensure compliance with contract, quality assurance, and information security policies.
+ Mentor junior staff and support workforce planning and training compliance.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ 5+ years of experience managing IT projects in a DoD or federal contracting environment.
+ Demonstrated experience managing diverse technical teams.
+ Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Experience supporting U.S. Army or Army Materiel Command programs.
+ Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and contract operations.
+ Familiarity with ITIL or process improvement methodologies.
**CLEARANCE LEVEL**
+ SECRET Clearance
**EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS**
+ Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution
+ An additional 4 years of experience can be substituted for the degree. In this instance, the candidate will be **required** to hold one of the certifications listed as _preferred_ below.
**CERTIFICATION**

+ The following certifications are preferred: CCE, CCISO, CCSP, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSMP, DAWIA PM Advanced, FITSP-A, FITSP-M, GFACT, GSLC
