Etc. Job Details Job Details: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Permanent Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on varied projects in the engineering industry, with a focus on machine design, process improvement, and time studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a proven track record of using Auto Cad, FMEA, and other relevant tools to deliver high-quality results. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include: 1. Designing and developing new machines and equipment using Auto Cad, ensuring they meet all necessary specifications and safety standards.
2. Performing detailed time studies to assess the efficiency of our machines and processes, identifying areas for improvement.
3. Implementing process improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
4. Conducting FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to anticipate potential failures and mitigate risks in our machines and processes.
5. Collaborating closely with other engineers and team members to design, test, and refine our machines and equipment.
6. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in mechanical engineering, machine design, and process improvement to ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry.
7. Documenting all work and results clearly and accurately for future reference. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Mechanical Engineer position will have the following qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on machine design and process improvement.
3. Proficiency in Auto Cad and a solid understanding of FMEA.
4. Proven experience in conducting time studies and implementing process improvement initiatives.
5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex mechanical problems.
6. Excellent communication and teamworking skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
7. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
8. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
