As a Security Professional - Healthcare Site Patrol - Part Time in Alabaster, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Assist visitors, staff, and patients with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and irregularities encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
