As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help prevent potential issues, and responding to various situations with professionalism and care. You will provide exceptional customer service, using strong communication skills to assist those in need and foster a welcoming atmosphere. Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a healthcare environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Assist visitors, staff, and patients with directions and general inquiries, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
- Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and irregularities encountered during patrols.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
