Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to deliver telespeech services within a school setting, operating in a fully remote capacity. This 1099 contract position requires providing therapeutic support to students from a home-based location.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions virtually.
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of progress.
- Collaborating with clinical and technical teams to optimize service delivery.
- Adhering to all relevant school district and licensing guidelines.
Qualifications and experience preferred for this role include:
- A minimum of 2 years experience delivering speech-language pathology services in school settings.
- Experience with virtual speech therapy is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Valid licensure and certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Strong communication skills and comfort with telehealth technology.
This position offers the flexibility of working from home while maintaining close connection with clinical and technical support staff to ensure effective telepractice delivery. Operating on a contract basis as a 1099 provider allows for independent schedule management.
The role is located in Theodore, AL, in alignment with the school districts service area; however, all work will be conducted remotely.
