Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician.
Job Summary:The E&I Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and instrumentation equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This role supports production by minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and instrumentation equipment.
- Troubleshoot motors, control panels, transformers, PLC systems, and field instruments.
- Calibrate and maintain pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
- Interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Technical Certification in Electrical, Instrumentation.
- Master Electrician License preferred.
- 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance (oil & gas plant or power plant).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems (low and medium voltage).
- Experience with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Installation of Variable Frequency Drives.
- Familiarity with DCS systems (e.g., Honeywell, Emerson).
- Ability to use calibration and diagnostic tools.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- 7 year background check.
