Make Precision Welds That Protect Patients

When your shift begins at 11:00pm, you’ll prep your station, select the right filler, and dial in your TIG settings. You’ll move from stainless to mild steel to aluminum in a high-mix, low-volume flow, crafting components that meet exacting medical device standards. Every pass matters, every joint is deliberate, and your craftsmanship is the difference.

Shift

11:00pm–7:00am, Monday–Friday

What You’ll Own

• Set up and run welding equipment using prescribed methods to consistently meet tolerance and quality standards.
• Create weldments via manual layout and manual surface preparation when needed.
• Read and apply welding blueprints, travelers, work instructions, and standard welding symbols.
• Fixturing expertise: position and hold parts with jigs/positioners to achieve accurate fit-up.
• Check dimensions using required precision measuring instruments and gauges.
• Contribute to team-based problem solving to remove production obstacles.
• Mentor and train peers, including Associate Welder, Welder I, and Welder II.
• Fit, purge, and execute complete joint penetration (CJP) welds.
• Troubleshoot equipment, materials, and fixturing to resolve weld issues.
• Perform visual weld inspections and document findings as required.
• Interpret and apply AWS standards and welding symbols to daily work.
• Produce all product lines assigned within the designated area.
• Partner with the Senior Welder to review and improve standard work in the area.

What You BringRequired

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of hands-on welding experience.
• 2 years in a solid metal fabrication/machining environment.
• Proficiency with manual TIG (GTAW) on stainless, mild steel, and aluminum.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and gauges.

Preferred

• Background with flux-cored, MIG, stick, and carbon steel processes.
• GTAW (TIG) certification.

Also Valued

• Strong math skills, troubleshooting aptitude, and basic computer literacy.
• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and all standard welding symbols.
