Verity Integrated Systems is seeking a Program Execution & Scheduling Analyst to support the execution of Department of Defense programs. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), tracking supplier and program deliverables, and supporting cost, schedule, and performance execution.
The selected candidate will work directly with the Program Manager and leadership team to ensure the program remains aligned to the approved plan. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who can operate across engineering teams, suppliers, and government stakeholders to keep the program on track.
Key Responsibilities Schedule Management (IMS)- Develop, maintain, and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project.
- Identify task dependencies, critical path, and schedule risks.
- Ensure alignment between the IMS, program plan, and contractual milestones.
- Provide regular schedule status updates and highlight potential delays.
- Track program activities against cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
- Support the Program Manager in day-to-day execution and coordination.
- Assist in preparing program reviews, status reports, and internal updates.
- Identify issues early and support development of mitigation strategies.
- Track supplier performance and ensure delivery of required components and deliverables.
- Coordinate with vendors to monitor progress and resolve schedule or performance issues.
- Maintain visibility on all program deliverables (CDRLs, reports, hardware/software items).
- Work across engineering, analysis, and operations teams to maintain schedule accuracy.
- Ensure program activities are synchronized and aligned with execution priorities.
- Support coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Assist with preparation of materials for government customer meetings and program reviews.
- Support communication and coordination with government representatives as required.
- Ensure program reporting aligns with contractual and customer expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Program Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-10 years of experience in scheduling, program support, or project execution roles.
- Experience using Microsoft Project to develop and maintain schedules.
- Understanding of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and task dependencies.
- Experience tracking deliverables, milestones, and program execution.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience supporting DoD programs or government contracts.
- Familiarity with:
- Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts
- Contract deliverables (CDRLs)
- Supplier/vendor coordination
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tracking, reporting, pivot tables).
- Experience working in a small business or dynamic program environment.
- Primarily office-based in Huntsville, AL.
- Collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting multiple technical teams.
- Occasional support to program reviews and customer engagements.
