Refurb Tech 1 is an entry-level position structured to provide training and development for our engineers whose main responsibilities are in-house. They work primarily in the refurb shop on refurbishment and reconditioning of decommissioned analyzers and parts. They support the field service engineers in the fulfillment of parts requests. They are also utilized in the field to perform de-installs and assist on some installations. They are also responsible for any other items that management assigns.
- Refurbishment of analyzers and parts in the refurb shop
- Assisting with the installation and de-installation of analyzers in the field
- Assisting with the fulfillment of parts requests
- Assisting with maintenance of parts and consumables inventory in the refurb shop
- Responsible for any other items management assigns
- High school education
- Mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to travel
