The successful candidate should be adaptable, motivated by challenge and have a proven track record of outstanding practice.About YouYou will be an outstanding English Teacher with:A good honor's degree in English language and literatureHold a PGCE teaching qualification, from the UK specialized in Secondary English with QTSHave a minimum of 2 years’ experience of teaching English in a British curriculum school in UK, or other countries.Experience of teaching key stage 3 will be preferredBe willing to contribute to the wider curriculum and support the vision of the schoolAt The Sheffield Private School, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Successful applicants are subject to appropriate vetting procedures including satisfactory police clearance certificates for all counties in which a successful candidate has resided including home country is required. For candidates coming from or who have resided in the UK the most recent DBS check and an International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC) is required from UK police (ACRO) and a minimum of 2 satisfactory references out of which one has to be from the Principal/Head Teacher of the current/recent school you have worked with.
