Mobile Equipment Mechanic

**Mobile Equipment Mechanic, Perry, GA** Interfor is seeking a skilled, safety-minded, and motivated **Mobile Equipment Mechanic** to join our team in **Perry, Georgia** . The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all mobile and rolling stock equipment throughout the mill to support safe and efficient production operations. The starting rate for this position is $28.77 per hour with the potential to grow based on skill level and experience. **What You'll Do** + Perform maintenance and repairs on all mobile androlling stock equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation, includingscheduled preventative maintenance. + Complete work orders accurately, documenting allwork performed, parts used, and time spent. + Inspect tires, fluid levels, belts, and relatedcomponents, replacing or repairing as needed. + Requisition replacement parts accurately and in atimely manner. + Plan and manage daily work effectively,demonstrating the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision. + Contain and clean spills using Oil Dry, ensuringleaks are addressed promptly and safely. + Communicate equipment status and repair needs tothe Supervisor and Superintendent. + Audit daily pre-shift inspection sheets completedby equipment operators. + Utilize the CMMS (Computerized MaintenanceManagement System) to track work orders and maintenance activities. + Perform additional duties as assigned by theSupervisor to support continuous mill operations. + Maintain a clean and organized work areas aftereach task. **What You Offer** + 2 to 4 years of mobile equipment mechanic experience. + High School Diploma/Equivalent Preferred. + Prior manufacturing/warehouse/lumber operations experience preferred. + Ability and desire to work in varying seasonal climate conditions. + Demonstrated commitment to safety. + Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, climbing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs. **What We Offer** + Group Benefit Programs (Employee Medical, Dental, Vision Plans) + Short Term Disability Insurance + Life and AD&D Insurance + Additional (Employee Paid) Life Insurance + HSA Medical Plan with Employer Match + Supplemental Insurance (Accident, Hospital & Critical) + 401(k) Matching Plan + Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Holidays + Employee Assistance Program + Training & Development Opportunities + Instant access to your wages ahead of payday **Who We Are** Interfor is one of the largest forest products companies in the world and we're growing in exciting directions.
