Life doesnt always follow a fixed schedule. Thats why we created the Security Officer Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income gain hands-on experience or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access in Vance AL this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures access control protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor authorization and document arrivals departures and other access-related activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting unusual activity and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter observing for maintenance concerns unauthorized access and other security-related issues that could help to deter disruption or loss.
• Support screening and inspection procedures for people vehicles and/or deliveries entering restricted areas while following post orders and customer service expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state county or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
