Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming academic year in a K-12 educational setting located in Boaz, AL. This position offers a contract role to provide critical speech and language services to students, supporting their communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with educational policies.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Valid certification or licensure as a School Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working with school-aged children across a wide grade span (K-12).
• Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a school environment.
• Knowledge of relevant state and federal education regulations related to special education services.
