**Job Title: Assembly Worker** **Job Description** Perform assembly tasks in an industrial manufacturing environment using various hand tools, power tools, and small machinery within a team setting. The role involves assembling according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions, and Quality Plans. The ability to sit during assembly is required, and tasks may include electrical assembly and soldering, testing bearings by running through thread rolls, and assembling actuators for various products. **Responsibilities** + Assemble products according to Standard Work Documentation and Quality Plans. + Utilize hand tools, power tools, and small machinery in the assembly process. + Perform electrical assembly and soldering as needed. + Test bearings by running them through thread rolls. + Assemble actuators for various products such as Bobcat and Mercury Marine. + Ensure all products assembled are 30 lbs or under. **Essential Skills** + Experience in packaging, inspection, mechanical assembly, and general labor. + Proficient in using hand and power tools. + Ability to lift and pack products. + Experience with soldering and using a tape measure. + Capability to work on an assembly line in a fast-paced environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required. + Strong work ethic, reliability, and good attendance. + Ability to follow step-by-step directions. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marengo, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
