Machine Operator – Print Shop

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Machine Operator to join our print shop team. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using computers, and able to maintain high accuracy in a fast‑paced production environment. Previous printing experience is helpful but not required—we are willing to train the right person.

Pay Rate

16.00-18.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday -Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm

Machine Operator- Duties and Responsibilities :

• Operate, monitor, and maintain print shop equipment, including digital and/or offset machines
• Set up machines for each job, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and performing test runs
• Use computer systems to input job specifications, track production, and manage print files
• Inspect printed materials for quality, color accuracy, and consistency
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform routine preventive maintenance
• Follow production schedules and meet daily deadlines
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety guidelines
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any production issues to supervisors
• Assist with finishing tasks such as cutting, folding, binding, or packaging as needed

Machine Operator- Qualifications :

• Strong computer skills; ability to learn new software and machine interfaces
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand machine functions and adjustments
• Prior print shop or manufacturing experience preferred; printing experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent time‑management and communication skills

Job Type
Full-time, temporary to hire
