A day in the role
- Morning: Review work orders, load materials, and head to your first site to install or repair pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- On-site: Diagnose issues, determine the best fix, and ensure everything meets local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Customer focus: Communicate options clearly, address concerns, and deliver a great service experience.
- Teamwork: Coordinate with other trades and contractors to keep projects on schedule.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of tasks completed and materials used.
- Growth: Stay current on industry trends and new plumbing technologies to elevate your craft.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship preferred.
- Valid plumbing license in the state of Alabama.
- Proven experience as a plumber with strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and best practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Clear, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform hands-on plumbing tasks.
