Responsibilities

• The Substance Use Disorder Program Director oversees a multidisciplinary team to provide a proactive and collaborative approach in serving the patient population.
• The SUD Programs Director oversees all SUD programs at the facility.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree in social work, counseling psychology, or another degree that leads to a clinical license.
• Must hold a Delaware clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LCDP or equivalent).
• Certification in chemical dependency (e.g., CADC, CAADC) or certified co-occurring disorder professional (CCDP).
• Minimum of five years’ experience leading a substance use disorder treatment program, including administrative duties and direct oversight responsibility.
• Preference for at least two years’ experience in a Therapeutic Community (TC) environment.
• Must pass a satisfactory background investigation.

Essential Functions

• Assist in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of SUD programs and projects.
• Prepare documentation, records, and reports as required.
• Apply clinical skills to the program’s activities and ensure timely, high-quality documentation.
