Collaboration Engineer
- Support the operation and maintenance of a large Exchange 2016 and Microsoft 365 environment for the MDA
- Conduct daily operation and maintenance activities as well as assist the determination of future needs and direction for collaboration services
- Interface with collaboration services customers and peers in other service areas to resolve issues and meet mission requirements
- Utilize strong troubleshooting skills and in-depth knowledge of Exchange 2016, Teams, Exchange online and other Microsoft 365 applications and functions
- Other duties as assigned
Primary duty hours are 0800-1600 M-F with periodic evening work to support system patching
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or science discipline preferred
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (ex: Security+) required
Experience:
- 6+ years of general (full-time) work experience
- 3+ years of directly related experience o
- Experience may be reduced with completion of advanced education
- Experience must include configuring, operating and maintaining Microsoft 356 environment
- Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) required
- Demonstrable understanding of Windows 2008/2016, Exchange 2010/2016, Lync, Blackberry Enterprise Server, TCP/IP, DNS, and Active Directory required
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware experience with journaling and e-mail archive/compliance solutions preferred
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $110,000 - 130,000
Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
