As a Security Officer - Flex Industrial Access in Leeds, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points to the location, verify credentials, and manage entry and exit procedures in alignment with site protocols.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards to Allied Universal management and site contacts as appropriate.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support the ongoing protection of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
