Position Summary

The On-Site Operations Coordinator at Riverstone Logistics (RLX) is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the dedicated dry van trailer operations at high-volume enterprise client facilities. Stationed on-site, this supervisor not only serves as the face of RLX but also leads the operations team, embodying a servant leader mindset while ensuring seamless load execution, trailer maintenance, and carrier alignment to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for On-Time Pickup (OTP) and On-Time Delivery (OTD). The supervisor will leverage RLX’s TMS (Turvo), customer-specific TMS, trailer tracking software, and other systems to deliver world-class service and drive continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Team Leadership: Provide on-site leadership organizing day-to-day activities of coordinators including general administrative and management support.

· Asset Management: Oversee the on-site pool of RLX’s dry van trailers, ensuring optimal utilization, availability, and condition for dedicated drop trailer operations at enterprise client facilities; maintain accurate inventory records by tracking equipment, tools, and materials.

· Trailer Maintenance: Monitor trailer quality, coordinate regular maintenance and repairs, and address issues to ensure compliance with safety standards, DOT regulations, and customer expectations; keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free to prevent loss or damage.

· Carrier Coordination: Collaborate with carrier partners to align daily load plans, confirming shipping hours, load readiness, and driver ETAs; schedule deliveries and pick-ups while making decisions on shipping/scheduling to achieve OTP and OTD KPIs.

· Customer Representation: Serve as RLX’s on-site ambassador, building strong relationships with enterprise client teams through proactive communication, urgency, and a servant leader approach; be the primary contact for jobsite issues, concerns, and deliveries.

· Load Execution: Manage the end-to-end shipment lifecycle, from load intake to delivery confirmation, adhering to customer-specific SOPs and service level agreements (SLAs); assist with loading and unloading as needed.

· Issue Resolution: Swiftly investigate and resolve operational issues (e.g., trailer shortages, carrier delays), escalating when necessary and following through to confirm resolution; anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions.

· System Accuracy: Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance across RLX’s TMS (Turvo), customer-specific TMS, and trailer tracking software, providing real-time visibility into load statuses; use logistics IT to monitor and optimize shipping procedures.

· Performance Monitoring: Track and report KPIs, with a primary focus on On-Time Pickup (OTP) and On-Time Delivery (OTD); analyze logistics-related data and suggest improvements for efficiency, collaborating with leadership to drive continuous process enhancement.

· Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies or recurring issues, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction; participate in pre-shift and post-shift meetings to align logistics with client goals.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

· 2+ years of logistics, transportation, or freight experience in a customer-facing or asset management role, preferably in an on-site or embedded capacity at client facilities.

· Proven leadership and proactive problem-solving skills, with a track record of quick decision-making in fast-paced environments.

· Results-oriented with extreme attention to detail in managing assets, tracking shipments, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and facility protocols.

· Proficiency in transportation management systems and trailer tracking software; experience with customer-specific TMS or ERP systems is a plus.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-first approach to building relationships and resolving escalations.
