**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Monitor for and report any security-related hazards, maintenance issues, or unusual circumstances observed during patrols.
+ Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors, providing assistance and information as needed.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
+ Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company policies and training.
+ Follow all site-specific protocols for access control, visitor management, and emergency procedures at the utilities location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
+ A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.
+ A valid armed guard card or license is required.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
