Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Fairhope, AL that specializes in component maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for pneumatic, fluid power, and electro-mechanical systems. We are looking for skilled Manual Machinist to assist with this client's production needs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and fabricate tools/test equipment.
• Maintain workspace, facility, and equipment as delegated by Production Manager.
• Regularly run a Mill, Lathe and surface grinders.
• Other responsibilities as delegated by the Production Manager.

ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES :

• Design non-complex tooling using paper drawings if and when needed.
• Fabricate tooling/test equipment.
• Work with R&D personnel in complex tooling design when assistance is needed.
• Other task/duties as delegated by the Production Manager.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Read, Write, and speak English
• Basic Mathematics
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to read measuring tool such as, Calipers, Micrometers, Dial Indicators
• Ability to read and interpret technical data/drawings
• Ability to Engineer tools and test equipment using a sample part
• Tig Welding
• Ability to run a Mill, Lathe and surface grinders
• SolidWorks CAD software

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 5 years manual machining experience required
• 1 year tig welding experience required

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
