Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Pelham, Alabama is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assists the Head Golf Professional to manage the daily operations of the golf course in cooperation with other departments.

Duties:
• Assists in training, scheduling, and supervising golf operation employees.
• May conduct tasks associated with the website and social media for the club.
• Manages daily tee sheet, pace of play, set up and use of practice facility on a daily basis.
• Responsible for receiving, displaying, inventory control, promotion and sales of merchandise.
• Assists Head Golf Pro in promoting and conducting outside events, tournaments and member events.
• Teaches private, group golf lessons and junior clinics. Conducts yearly PGA Junior League. Plays golf with members and guests.
• Works weekends, holidays and required/long hours during peak season.
• Establishes and maintains effective work relationships with others.

Requirements:
High School degree required.
Must be knowledgeable of the rules of golf.
Entry into PGA Golf Management program preferred.
Experience in playing golf at a high level and an ability to teach golf lessons preferred.
PGA Apprenticeship preferred.
AL driver’s license required.

Compensation:
$35,490.00 – $48,369.00 per year.
