About the Role

As a Professional Dog Groomer , you’ll play a key role in shaping our salon’s reputation for quality, care, and customer satisfaction. You’ll provide full-service grooming for dogs of all breeds and sizes — always prioritizing comfort, safety, and a positive experience for each pet.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services: bathing, brushing, de-shedding, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and breed-specific cuts

• Style and shape coats to meet breed standards and client preferences

• Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments using proper techniques

• Identify skin, coat, or health concerns and communicate with pet parents

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming space

• Deliver excellent customer service with clear communication and care

• Create a low-stress, positive grooming experience for every pet

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional dog grooming experience (salon, clinic, or similar setting)

• Skilled with all breeds, coat types, and grooming tools

• Strong understanding of canine behavior and breed-specific grooming standards

• Grooming certification and/or pet first aid training a plus

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-service driven

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
