HVAC Installation Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to support residential and light commercial projects in Platte City, MO. This full-time position is ideal for a hands-on professional experienced in installing heating and cooling systems while maintaining high standards for safety, efficiency, and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, duct systems, and related HVAC components
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
• Complete system startups, testing, and commissioning procedures
• Ensure installations comply with local building codes and safety standards
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to maintain jobsite efficiency
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and protect customer property
• Identify and resolve installation issues in the field
• Provide customers with guidance on system operation and maintenance

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of residential or light commercial HVAC installation experience
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, airflow principles, and installation practices
• Ability to interpret technical documents and electrical schematics
• EPA certification required (additional certifications preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or elevated spaces
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality workmanship
