Project Manager

Position Overview

Genesis is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of safety-related projects for our clients. This role serves as the primary point of contact between customers, internal sales teams, vendors, and field resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has experience managing projects in industrial, construction, or safety-related environments and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple safety and industrial projects from award through completion

• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, internal sales teams, vendors, and subcontractors

• Develop project schedules, track milestones, and manage deliverables

• Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, and logistics

• Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to ensure scope alignment

• Track project budgets, change orders, and cost impacts

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and customer expectations

• Conduct project status meetings and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders

• Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies

• Support field teams and installation crews as needed to resolve issues

• Close out projects with proper documentation, invoicing coordination, and customer satisfaction follow-up

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in:

  • Safety equipment

  • Industrial services

  • Construction

  • Manufacturing

  • EPC or distribution environments

• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

• Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience

• Background in safety products, fall protection, PPE, or industrial equipment

• Experience coordinating vendors, installers, or subcontractors

• Familiarity with OSHA standards or industrial safety requirements

• PMP or other project management certification (preferred but not required)
