Syndicated Loan Servicing Specialist

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Syndicated Loan Servicing Specialist in Birmingham, AL. Summary: Our client is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to join its Syndicated Loan Servicing team. This position will support various stages of the loan lifecycle, from closing and booking through ongoing servicing and eventual loan termination. This position will work a hybrid schedule in Birmingham or Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in loan servicing, loan operations, or commercial lending, with syndicated loan experience. This is a hands-on operational role for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working through a high-volume workload. The position will initially focus on helping the team clear a backlog of work before transitioning into the management of an assigned book of business. Key Responsibilities:

• Support syndicated loan servicing activities throughout the loan lifecycle
• Assist with loan closing, booking, ongoing servicing, and termination activities
• Process and maintain accurate loan documentation and servicing information
• Work with loans where the organization serves as the lead bank or lender
• Communicate regularly with lead banks and internal stakeholders to resolve servicing issues and complete required activities
• Manage multiple loans and competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Help reduce the team's existing backlog and meet established deadlines
• Transition into managing an assigned daily portfolio of loans once the initial backlog has been addressed
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools and applicable loan servicing systems to complete daily responsibilities
• 3+ years of professional experience in loan servicing, loan operations, commercial lending, or a related banking environment
• Syndicated loan servicing experience
• Strong understanding of loan servicing processes and the overall loan lifecycle
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven operational environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite in Birmingham or Atlanta Monday through Thursday, with remote work available on Fridays

• Experience working with the AFS Vision platform is a strong plus
• Experience supporting commercial or corporate lending operations
• Familiarity with syndicated loan structures and lead bank/lender responsibilities
• Strong Microsoft Office experience
